HelloReturn to index of stories... |
Hello. I'm Beth Carroll. Welcome to New Hampshire Outlook. |
Intro StatehouseReturn to index of stories... |
The legislature voted today on two measures that will affect services to the state's neediest citizens. As Richard Ager tells us, it was a day filled with emotional debate that was preceeded by a lesson in cultural history. |
Intro SmokingReturn to index of stories... |
Today was the first session where Representatives could not smoke. At one point, the members could smoke in Reps Hall and at their seats. Then, concerns about health led to a separate smoking room. But the filters, recycling pumps - even the negative pressure didn't work, as State Rep. - and Doctor - James Piliod told Richard today. |
Tag SmokingReturn to index of stories... |
New Hampshire has the longest continuously occupied Statehouse in the country. Today was the first day in over 200 years that the back rooms weren't full of smoke. |
Intro HolocaustReturn to index of stories... |
Next week many people around the world will commemorate Holocaust Remembrance Day. One of the first centers dedicated to studying the Holocaust is right here in the Granite State. Julie Donnelly learns more from Tom White from the Cohen Center for Holocaust Studies at Keene State College. |
Intro SmaltReturn to index of stories... |

Kerry used argument about men dying for a mistake in Vietnam -- President needed to relay.we are on right course, right path.to reassure American people. Q Pundits said he came across as a determined man who believes in what he's doing. Q Asked about if he felt personally responsible.said Osama bin Laden responsible. wouldn't it have taken super human foresight to predict 9-11 ===== Kerry: I don't presecribe to same course as George Bush - unwise toleave a failed iraq in its wake.
